Celtic Rant Launches "Encore"

Celtic Rant, a local quartet of traditional acoustic musicians, launches its second CD entitled Encore.

The launch will take place:

Tuesday, November 30,

7:00 to 9:00 p.m at Durty Nelly’s

Corner of Sackville & Argyle Street, Halifax


"Encore" features 5 original compositions from all members
of the band as well as an assortment of traditional songs and tunes.

Drawing on the rich repertoire of East Coast Celtic tradition of intricate instrumentals, sea shanties, Irish ballads and original compositions, Celtic Rant have forged a polished sound on guitar, fiddle, piano, mandolin and bagpipes.


CDs will be available for sale at the launch.
